Individual

All new members (except student, affiliate studying and global affiliate) pay a one-off admission fee of £50 on joining.

A full year's membership subscription is also payable on joining. The fee depends on the grade of membership applied for - see box to the right for details.

 

Group

Members are asked each year to pay an additional discretionary payment of £10 towards the Institute’s benevolent fund - Iprovision.

If at least three people join together from the same organisation, no entrance fee is charged on joining representing a saving of at least £150 per group.

Please ensure that all group membership applications are sent back together and are clearly marked 'group membership'. Please note that membership is still awarded on an individual basis under this scheme.

How to pay

Payment can be made by cheque (made payable to the Chartered Institute of Public Relations), debit/credit card or by direct debit. (Please note that if you choose to pay by direct debit you must pay the £50 admission fee by cheque or debit/credit card).
