Meet the Editor - new for 2008
Have you ever wondered what makes editors choose one story over the next? Or what it takes to get
your story in the paper or magazine? Do you want top tips on how to produce a great press release?
If so, then book your place now for the new Meet the Editors sessions.
These special events will provide you with a unique opportunity to meet some of the UK’s top Editors from both trade, national and local press. Ask your burning questions during the Q&A slot and leave with the knowledge and contacts you need to effectively sell-in your stories.

- Tuesday 11 November – Julia Werdigier, Business Correspondent, New
York Times and International Herald Tribune
Julia Werdigier is the business correspondent for The New York Times and The International Herald Tribune in London. For the last 15 months she has been covering the economy, the credit crunch and takeovers for the two papers and their web sites. Prior to that she spent eight years reporting for Bloomberg News in Berlin, Frankfurt and most recently London, where she was the European mergers and acquisitions correspondent. Julia also published articles in Austria's daily Der Standard and Britain's The Independent and produced programs for the Austrian Broadcasting Association. She was born in Vienna, Austria and has an MSc from the London School of Economics.

Timings
All session begin at 6pm with registration. Presentations start at 6.30pm and finish at 7.30pm. Wine and snacks will be served during the registration period.

Tickets will cost £50+VAT for CIPR members and £60+VAT for Non-members.
