About Alan Rawel

This conference was named after Alan Rawel, who sadly passed away in the autumn of 2004. Alan joined the CIPR in March 2001 as the Head of Education and, during the short time he was with us, laid the foundations for much of the work we now undertake in training and education. He developed many of the relationships with other bodies that are still in place today.

His commitment to the sector and particularly the relationship between academia and practice cannot be underestimated. It is only fitting that this conference be named after Alan in recognition of his work and commitment to bringing PR practice and theory together.

For more information on the conference contact Vicky King at the CIPR via VictoriaK@cipr.co.uk or on 020 7766 3356.

Conference presentations from 2007 are now available to conference delegates via a password protected page.
