Hello,

I wish to pursue a Masters course in PR. I have obtained an unconditional offer for a Masters in PR from University of Leeds, Leicester and Sheffield Hallam. I am awaiting a response from Cardiff University

As an international student I have a few areas of concern regarding my future post completion of the degree.

1. What is the scope of pursuing a career in Public Relations in the UK ?
2. Are jobs available for fresh graduates given the current economical situation in UK ?
3. Considering the fact that the Masters in PR at Leeds is not accredited with CIPR (only Cardiff is) - is it a factor of concern ? How important is it to be accredited by CIPR ?
4.Would it be advisable for me to start the Masters course in Sept 11. I am keen ( like any other student who is taking a loan to support her education ) to stay back in the UK and get the international exposure.
5. If you were to rank the universities with respect to quality of the course and job prospects post completion, what would be the order ? ( All UK Unis)

I sincerely appreciate any advice you would have to offer me.

Thank you in advance for your time and help,

Regards,

Aneesha Singh
