Welcome to CIPR TV, a brand new addition to the CIPR, developed by members, for members.
View the latest schedule information
With so much happening in PR – from the impact of social media, to pressure on public sector communications, new measurement standards and contentious issues such as reputation laundering - we wanted to bring together some of the most engaging and experienced communicators to discuss the issues of the day and share practice and thinking.
Thanks to the team at markettiers4DC, a series of live shows will start on Wednesday 8 September at 5pm, and then every three weeks on an ongoing basis. Each show will be hosted by CIPR members and feature a guest speaker. You can tweet questions and comments during the shows, with the hashtag #ciprtv.
In the coming weeks we hope to bring you:
Paul Mylrea, Head of Press and Media Relations at the BBC will talk to us about reputation washing and, as CIPR President-Elect, his view on the profession's challenges in 2011.
Robert Phillips, CEO of Edelman UK will talk to us about the changing communications world and a new era of public engagement.
Mark Borkowski, MD of Borkowski will talk about the differences between publicity and PR.
Keep an eye out for the latest broadcast on cipr.tv.

Hello, Philip here, one of the CIPR TV's hosts (I'm the one on the left). Love to know what you think about the prospects for CIPR TV and any ideas you have for the format. And I'm happy to try and answer any questions too.
I'm watching the tweets with the hashtag #ciprtv, and any that mention CIPR TV in the #cipr stream, so perhaps I'll chat with you there?
Also I've blogged here about it all:

Regards, Philip.
P.S. Stephen is on holiday in case you were thinking he's (uncharacteristically) quiet.
Following @marypollard's Tweet, here's details of the first show:
When: 5pm 8 September 2010
Where: www.cipr.tv
Hashtag: #ciprtv
Guest: Paul Mylrea, BBC and 2011 CIPR President

Well done CIPR.
Good luck with the show tonight. We will all be watching just before #ciprsm. So no pressure.
I look forward to a lot of members being involved and especially from the studios across the country and among our international members.
Hey... and this is a great channel for all our job hunting students!
Thanks for the good wishes David... although the first show isn't until 8th September :-)
Hope to see you on tweeting away at #ciprtv.
Philip.
Hello Philip and Stephen - good luck with the show this afternoon! Exciting initiative. Regards, Anne Howard
