This year's CIPR LPS Group - Excellence Awards saw 137 entries including 42 different local public sector organisations. The judges met this week and the shortlisted entries have been announced.
The judges have selected this year's shortlist which can be seen below.
These submissions demonstrate the very best in communications and show how communications can help enhance the reputation of an organisation.
Ashley Wilcox, Chair of the CIPR Local Public Services Group, says:
Competition is always strong and this year is no exception. I would like to take this opportunity to thank all who entered this year. These awards offer a unique opportunity to reward dedicated teams and individuals from all sectors within local public services, including the police, fire fighters, NHS workers, teachers, and the wide range of local government departments.
The committee's congratulations go to all on the shortlist and we look forward to seeing you at this year's awards ceremony. This takes place at the CIPR LPS Group Awards night on Friday 22nd October 2010 in Brighton - after the group's annual conference that week.
