The day-to-day operations of the Institute are supervised by the Executive Board. This is chaired by the President and consists of the elected officers (Immediate Past President, President, President-elect and Honorary Treasurer), the Director-General and other elected members of the Council, including the Chairs of the four Standing Committees. The Executive Board meets more frequently than other committees, on a six weekly cycle. The Executive Board is charged with ensuring the co-ordination of Institute business. Standing Committees may refer matters to the Executive Board for guidance and direction.
