Accredited Practitioner status is awarded to Members (MCIPR) or Fellows (FCIPR) who have:
- completed two continuous years of CPD by accumulating 60 CPD points per year or
- have completed a CIPR Diploma and are taking part in CPD or
- have completed a CIPR recognised Masters degree and are taking part in CPD.
If you are an Associate (ACIPR) you can work towards completing your two years (120 points) of CPD and Accredited Practitioner status will be awarded when you upgrade your membership.
Accredited Practitioner status is valid only for as long as you are a CIPR member and continue to participate in CPD.
You can track your progress towards Accredited Practitioner by logging in to your personal CPD account at MyCPD.
If you think you are eligible for Accredited Practitioner status and we have not already contacted you about it, please email Deborah Liddle. In some circumstances it is possible to fast track to Accredited Practitioner status.
