If you are a potential student or professional looking for a course of study at university we currently recognise over 30 different courses across Great Britain and Northern Ireland.
CIPR approval gives recognition to the significant role the particular course plays in influencing and developing PR academics and professionals, as part of the our commitment to promoting high standards within the public relations profession

Professional qualifications
We offer the only industry-recognised PR qualifications at Foundation, Advanced Certificate and Diploma level.
Foundation Award
Our Foundation Award is right for you if you are considering PR as a career option and you are a school-leaver, student, or are already working in a different industry and would like to move into public relations.
Advanced Certificate
Our Advanced Certificate (also available to study online) is right for you if you are a graduate in any subject who would like to move into PR or are in the first few years of your PR career. You will gain a solid grounding in all the key concepts, techniques, theories and skills needed to perform effectively as a PR practitioner.
Diploma
Our Diploma course (also available to study online) is a part-time postgraduate courses that will develop your strategic PR and communications management skills.
We also offer specialist short courses in Internal Communications, Public Affairs and Crisis Communications.

We provide training and development opportunities for practitioners at all levels.
As the Chartered body for the PR profession, we have a strong reputation for delivering the highest standard of training. With 56 workshops to choose from, we offer a wide range of workshops designed to support the development of practitioners at every stage of their career. Our workshops involve high levels of interaction and participation – they provide practical tools and techniques that are easily applied to your work.
Continous Professional Development (CPD)
CPD is about improving and developing your skills and knowledge throughout your career and is an essential part of being a professional.
Our CPD scheme is open to all CIPR members. It's not a training course or qualification but it is an essential element in managing your development and in achieving CIPR Accredited Practitioner status – a hallmark of your professional excellence.
