Log in to MyCPD to record your development activities and your CPD points. You will need your membership number to log in. If you have forgotten this, please contact the membership team.
On the Activities tab you will find hundreds of suggested development activities that have already had CPD points allocated by the CIPR (CIPR recognised activities). The list includes all CIPR development activities as well as authorised activities by other providers.
If we have not already recognised an activity you can still log it as a to your CPD record as a custom activity. We will then approve it and award the appropriate points.
Logging CIPR-recognised activities
If your activity is listed simply click on it to bring up the activity details and click on 'record this activity as a submission'. Answer the evaluation questions and submit your activity. Your CPD record will be updated with this activity and the related CPD points.
Logging a custom activity
If your activity is not listed as CIPR-recognised, you can log it as a custom activity. In MyCIPR, go to the Dashboard or Activity pages and click on 'submit a custom activity' at the bottom of the page. You will be asked to provide some information about your activity, including evidence of completion. Once you have provided all the required information, tick 'I'm ready to file this submission on my CPD record' and then click 'save final'.
All custom activities are audited by the CIPR team, usually within one month. When your activity has been audited and approved your CPD records will be updated with the relevant points. If we have any queries on your activity or need further information we will email you.
How are CPD points awarded?
CPD points can be claimed for all your development activities. They are not restricted to CIPR activities.
There is no limit on the number of times an activity type can be recorded during a CPD year, unless specified, but keep an eye on the activity streams as the amount of activity you can do in each stream depends on your level of accreditation.
