The AMEC Global Effectiveness Awards 2012, which are now in their 10th year, recognises and celebrates exceptional work and accomplishments in putting programme research, measurement and evaluation on the agenda, especially since the adoption of the Barcelona Principles framework in 2010.
This is a new-style AMEC Awards, after a deliberate 12-month break in which we reviewed how to make the AMEC Awards the biggest event of its type internationally. We seek to make the AMEC Awards different by:
- making the AMEC Awards truly international by forming an International Judging Panel
- encouraging entries from the global PR industry
- celebrating the Awards as an international event by announcing the winners at AMEC's European Summit in Paris – at a dinner to be held on Thursday 14 June, 2012.
The awards offers the opportunity to showcase International Best Practice in programme research, measurement and evaluation.
