Pam is a director at PamLloyd Food Marketing & PR, a specialist agency based in Bristol with a team of ten. The business represents fresh produce and grocery brands as well as specialist food service products. It has won numerous CIPR PRide awards, most notably the gold award for Outstanding Consultancy in 2012.
Pam began her PR career over 20 years ago where she was press officer for Harrods Food Halls and Restaurants. She has worked in food PR and marketing ever since.
Pam has been a member of the CIPR for several years and has held the role of Chair Elect in the South West. Pam sat on the CIPR Committee as the representative of the South West region in 2013.
Pam is committed to working with the regional committee to provide meaningful benefits of membership to all members in the South West region working in house, in agency, third sector, public sector, freelance and beyond into other marketing disciplines.
Julie Jupe MCIPR, Chair Elect
Julie moved to Bristol after several years working in local government and the financial service sector in London. She has many years experience of working in a variety of communication roles in the Environment Agency. Most recently, she has been involved in crisis communications, both managing and playing a full part in the winter 2014 flooding and storms.
She has been a member of the CIPR SW committee for two years and hosts regular breakfast sessions at the Environment Agency's offices in central Bristol.
Gemma Fear MCIPR, Secretary
Gemma is the Press and Communications Officer for Public Health England in the South West and is based in Bristol.
Gemma graduated from the University of the West of England in Bristol with a degree in Cultural and Media Studies. She started working in PR following marketing and design roles after University and has worked in health PR and communications since 2009.
Gemma has been a member of the CIPR since 2011 and a member of the South West Committee since 2012. She has been re-elected as Secretary for 2014, previously holding the role in 2013. Gemma held the role of PRide Co-ordinator for the regional PRide awards in 2012. Gemma completed the CIPR Advanced Certificate in Public Relations in 2012 and became an Accredited Practitioner of the CIPR in February 2014.

Rachel runs Cornwall-based agency MPAD with husband Mark, employing a small team in Truro. Having trained as a newspaper journalist, Rachel has eight year's experience in media relations. She also works in brand consultancy, marketing consultancy and communications strategy, with a special interest in the third sector and evaluating impact of communications.
Zoe is a former journalist and has spent the past 12 years working in PR and has been a member of the CIPR throughout that time. After five years in a busy police press office she moved into the nuclear industry where she has spent the past seven years dealing with all aspects of PR, including crisis' such as Fukushima, as well as internal communications, stakeholder relations and most recently online and social media. Zoe joined the committee in 2011.

Katrina works for the Forestry Commission, covering national proactive media and partnerships.
She chose to stay in Bristol after studying media and journalism at the University of the West of England. After a couple of years working for a PR agency in Bristol, Katrina took up the Communications Manager position at Westonbirt Arboretum - and hasn't looked back.
Katrina is an accredited practitioner and has passed the CIPR PR Diploma with Merit.
Meryl Coleclough, MCIPR, Membership Development Co-ordinator
Meryl Coleclough is an award-winning editor and copywriter. Her work reflects her many years' experience of working at a senior level within PR, journalism and publishing. Before moving to Bristol, having kids and deciding to work for herself, Meryl was the Deputy Head of Communications at a high-profile London Council and the Managing Editor of a financial publishing house in north London.
Meryl is keen to improve how we communicate with you, believing that we need to build good informal networks, by sector and region, right across the South West.
Natasha Collins-Daniel MCIPR Accredited Practitioner, PRide Co-ordinator
Natasha Collins-Daniel Natasha has over eight years' experience working within the PR industry. After spending two years developing her skills with a PR agency working for a variety of clients on B2B campaigns, Natasha moved to the not-for-profit sector and currently holds the role of Press Manager at the Soil Association. Natasha graduated from the University of Exeter with a degree in public relations and community studies, has been a member of the CIPR since 2007 and a member of the CIPR South West Committee since 2011.
Laura Boxall, MCIPR, Newsletter & Web Editor
Laura is a professional communicator with 10 years experience working for central government departments in a range of marketing, strategic, and internal communications roles. Currently leading financial communications to employees within the MOD, she has previously worked on public facing campaigns on subjects including immigration, police recruitment and consumer rights. Laura gained a Masters in Public Relations from the University of the Arts, London in 2008. She has been a member of CIPR since 2006 and joined the CIPR SW Committee in 2014 as Newsletter and Web Editor.

Olivia is a Senior PR Executive at Exeter-based agency, Nellie PR, which specialises in B2B and corporate communications. She has five years' experience working in local government communications and public relations agencies. As events co-ordinator for Devon, Olivia organises training, conferences and networking events to promote best practice in the region. Olivia joined the CIPR South West Committee in 2013.
Vicky Runcie, Regional Co-ordinator – Bristol
Vicky Runcie is media relations manager at the Airbus site in Bristol. She was previously the community engagement manager at the same site and has run and ran the global student competition, Fly Your Ideas 2013 during her time in this role. She has the CIPR Advanced Certificate and the Diploma.
Jim Michell, Regional Co-ordinator – Cornwall
An experienced PR practitioner with a background in journalism, Jim set up Barefoot Media in 2002 having worked as a newspaper journalist and magazine editor.
Based in rural offices near Wadebridge in Cornwall, Barefoot Media specialises in content-led campaigns for food and drink, tourism and events businesses. The agency won three golds at the 2013 South West CIPR Pride Awards, including Outstanding Small Consultancy.
Lynsey Thorp, Regional Co-ordinator - Wiltshire
Lynsey has nearly 10 years' experience in the industry and is currently PR Manager at healthcare provider Simplyhealth.
In 2009/2010 she worked for the Health Protection Agency (now Public Health England) and in 2007/8 managed the PR activity for Wiltshire Police, winning the 2008 Association of Police Press Officers award for Communications in Excellence.
Prior to this, Lynsey looked after a number of international media campaigns for businesses within the science and technology sector whilst agency side and managed product events throughout EMEA for global giant, Intel.
Lynsey is a CIPR Accredited Practitioner and completed the CIPR Diploma in 2013.
Sian Trew, Regional Co-ordinator - Somerset
Sian is Head of External Communications at NHS South West Commissioning Support, where she leads communications for the NHS Clinical Commissioning Groups across Bristol, South Gloucestershire and North Somerset. Prior to this Sian gained broad marketing, communications, PR and business development experience working across the private, public and voluntary sectors for the British Paralympic Association, Avon and Somerset Police, ISG Plc and Bristol Community Health.
Before transferring into PR and communications, Sian started her career as a local news journalist. She has postgraduate qualifications in journalism and completed the CIPR Diploma in PR in 2008.
Sian joined the CIPR South West Committee in 2014 as Regional Co-ordinator for Somerset.

Amy is a freelance public relations professional with over 11 years' experience working for high profile agencies, with clients in sectors ranging from heath and beauty to oil and finance.
As regional co-ordinator for Gloucestershire, Amy organises training and networking events to support best practice and knowledge-sharing in the area.
Rebecca Miller MCIPR, Press Officer
Rebecca has over 10 years' experience working in a variety of roles in the not-for-profit and public sector. She moved into PR in 2009 when she worked for an international NGO with projects in Africa. Rebecca now works as a freelance practitioner supporting small businesses, start-ups and charities. She specialises in media relations and social media support, and has worked on a wide variety of consumer campaigns spanning health & wellbeing, education, employment and the arts. Rebecca is Press Officer for the CIPR South West committee.
Catherine Foster, Sectoral Events Co-ordinator
Catherine currently works for the Home Office press office providing media handling advice to Ministers across a wide range of policy areas and dealing with reactive and proactive communications across the South of England. Prior to this Catherine worked at Avon and Somerset Police where she specialised in crisis communications and supporting teams investigating serious and organised crime. She has also worked in agency PR representing big name clients within the fast moving consumer goods industry.
Before moving into PR Catherine worked as a newspaper journalist. She has a degree in English and Sports Science and a postgraduate diploma in journalism.
Catherine joins the CIPR South West Committee in 2014 as Sectoral Events Co-ordinator.
