Paul Mylrea, the 2011 CIPR President, commented:
As an Institute we rely on the commitment of our volunteer members. It is a real pleasure to recognise the contributions Dave has consistently made to the public relations profession in the North West and nationally. His experience, good humour and willingness to serve have made him an asset to the CIPR and pleasure to work with.
Dave Sanders, commented:
I'm very pleased and honoured with this recognition for the work I've carried out as a volunteer on the CIPR North West committee. I've been very fortunate, especially during my four years as chair of the group, to have been supported by many dedicated PR colleagues who helped me along the way and they must share some of the credit.
