Register for deferral or resubmission of assignments

You may choose to defer any or all of the three assignments once only and for one submission date only. Students opting for a deferral will still attend the scheduled teaching sessions, however, they will be submitting their assignment(s) at the next available date. Deferral will not affect the grade you receive for your assignment, nor will it affect the submission dates for your other assignments.

You will do the new case study if re-sitting the planning assignment or a new set of questions if re-sitting the CRT.

Deferral requests should be made using the Register for deferral/resubmission form and can be submitted up until the last working day before the assignment submission deadline.

If you have previously failed to submit an assignment you should use the Register for deferral/ resubmission form to register to submit that assignment and to pay the resubmission charge.

An administration charge of £75 will be made by CIPR for deferral or resubmission of each assignment. There is no charge to resubmit previously submitted but failed assignments.

Individual assignment deferrals and course deferrals can only be actioned once all course fees have been paid in full or instalment payments are up to date.

Please note that you must keep your membership of the CIPR active until you successfully complete the three assignments.
