Stage 3 interviews will be scheduled throughout the year, with new dates added subject to demand. You can book an interview slot in advance if you are aiming to complete your application by a certain time or wait until you have completed Stage 2 and book an interview slot after receiving your results.
You should work towards Chartered Practitioner status at a pace that fits your workload and commitments throughout the year and that will be manageable for you. As an indication of how much time you should allow between stages, when you submit at Stages 1 and 2 we will inform you of your result within 4 weeks.
For instance, to complete in the shortest time possible, if you decided to start your application in January, you might choose an interview date in May. This will give you four months to complete Stages 1 and 2. See below for a typical schedule:
- 1st week Jan - start work on Stage 1 Statement of Experience.
- 3rd week Jan - submit Stage 1 Statement of Experience.
- 3rd week Feb - receive Stage 1 result; start work on Stage 2 paper.
- 3rd week Mar - submit Stage 2 paper.
- 4th week Apr - receive Stage 2 result.
- May - interview.
At Stages 1 and 2 it is possible that you will be asked to resubmit your Statement of Experience or Paper before it can be passed. If you have set a short timescale for completion, you will be able to cancel and reschedule your interview if needed by selecting one of the future published interview dates.
Stage 3 fee, £300 + vat.
