MA Public Relations

The MA Public Relations (CIPR recognised) at De Montfort University aims not just to equip students with industry-specific public relations skills but also encourage them to think about the broader context in which the practice of public relations is situated.

For some students this qualification will act as a springboard into a successful public relations career for others it will open up opportunities to progress existing careers into senior management or other positions that require the ability to strategically manage communications.

The course allows students to understand modern business and media practices, as well as teaching them how to integrate the developing new media technologies into public relations programmes.

There is also an exciting visiting lecturer programme, where public relations practitioners and media professionals will provide additional insight into many different aspects of the industry.
