
The Faculty of Humanities within De Montfort University is launching
a new Postgraduate Diploma / MA in Public Relations designed to
produce precisely the right kind of professionals to work in this
exciting and challenging field.
This highly vocational course has been developed in conjunction with
the PR industry and teaches students the skills that PR agencies and
departments are looking for. It encourages students to think about
the broader business and organisational contexts in which public
relations is situated and how to integrate social media practices
into PR programmes. Students are taught by lecturers with direct and
recent experience of working in public relations, business and the
media and the hands-on work placement is an opportunity for students
to put their new-found skills into practice.

De Montfort University's Postgraduate Diploma / MA in Public
