In presenting the business case for
diversity the Board has decided to carry out the following activities in
2006:
- To hold a diversity conference in
the autumn
- To publish a report containing case
studies and contributions from journalists and diversity
specialists, which will be made available to our members
- To organise a discussion panel of
senior pr practitioners, plus a diversity specialist, to share
experiences and best practices in relation to diversity in PR
The CIPR will continue to support external
schemes of organisations and public bodies (such as the Commission for
Racial Equality's Race for the Professional campaign) and will continue
to be present at external events and conferences throughout the year.
