I would say the advantages of being on a CIPR Approved Course mainly surround the course content and quality. The units are really relevant to working in the industry and enable you to grasp what public relations is really about.

Also of course there are also additional benefits of having great guest speakers who take time out of their busy schedules to visit the university because they want to give us a real insight into how PR works and how they have dealt with campaigns.

Also personally for me, I would only ever have opted for an approved degree as you know it had to be approved by the CIPR who are the governing body of the industry, it gives me confidence in what I am being taught plus the fact I was able to join as a Student CIPR member which has even more benefits!
