The opening meeting of the CIPR Public Affairs 2012 programme will give members the opportunity to discuss the Government proposals for a statutory register of lobbyists – the biggest issue currently facing the industry and one that will shape the way public affairs professionals operate in the future. We are pleased to announce that Mark Harper MP, Cabinet Office Minister with responsibility for this consultation, will attend this rescheduled meeting, subject to Parliamentary business.
