CIPR Inside
CIPR Inside’s primary objective is to develop the professional status of internal communications by providing a forum through which people can share ideas and practices and agree professional standards. This will be achieved in a number of ways, including meetings, conferences, seminars, training workshops and research projects.

Future plans for this web site include the provision of a library of information and an on-line resource for discussing and debating challenges that you are facing within your organisations.

Marketing Communications
This Group is of particular interest to any PR professional planning or working on public relations programmes which support marketing objectives, and which integrate all available channels of communication to the target audience. This desirable state of affairs is achieved less often than it should be – even by some very major players. More than half all expenditure on PR today is said to be on marketing communications programmes, so few CIPR members can afford to ignore the discipline. The Group arranges a number of events each year, normally case studies of best practice in marketing communications, or discussions of the latest techniques.

This group provides a much-needed communication forum for professionals in what are two of the largest and fastest growing sectors in the economy. It also aims to raise the profile of the sector - tackling the image problem which is apparent in some sectors - and to promote best practice. A series of monthly industry-related educational and networking events are being planned and links are being established with a range of relevant trade and professional organisations.
