Visit to ARREP in Lille

A group of us had a very interesting visit to a group of French PR practitioners in Lille during March. Among the facts to emerge is that they employed a British Press officer during Lille’s year as European City of Culture, which helped boost British visitors to 10% of the total. An interesting illustration of the possibilities of cross border PR work.

We have invited members of ARREP to visit Home Counties South in 2006 and will be planning a series of presentations which we hope will be as useful to them as theirs were to us.
