The Journal of Communication in Healthcare is a major new professional journal publishing peer-reviewed articles on how to improve communication management in healthcare.
Each quarterly 100-page issue publishes detailed articles containing actionable advice and ‘lessons learned’ from medical practitioners, communications managers, policy makers and other professionals. It seeks to advance understanding of how communication techniques are used and their impact measured in practice.
Guided by an expert Editorial Board, including CIPR Health & Medical Group members - Diane Leakey (MHRA), Adrian Penrose (Medical Research Council) and Justin Wilkes (Spink), it focuses on new thinking and best practice in communicating medical information to patients, healthcare staff and the public. Crucially, it also analyses communication management in other key relationships integral to effective healthcare delivery including those between clinicians, managers, policy makers, the media and other key stakeholders.
The launch issue of the Journal of Communication in Healthcare comes out in December (details of which can be found at http://www.henrystewart.com/jch/index.html) and the publishers are currently offering CIPR H&M Group members the opportunity to take advantage of the "early bird discount price" at any time. If you would like to subscribe to the Journal then please specify the discount code "EM" on your order form.
