About CIPR Inside
Originally formed in 1995, the group was relaunched as the Internal Communication Alliance (ICA) in October 2002 to focus on internal communications and to promote its proper positioning within the public relations mix.
The ICA was launched with an 'afternoon of excellence' followed by a reception on the 16 October 2002 in London. This name of the group has now become 'CIPR Inside'.
The group provides a forum for internal communications specialists, and other PR professionals who are interested and involved, to exchange experiences and develop strategies to meet the many challenges organisations face, not least of which is change.
The aim is to meet every three months in London with a guest speaker and discussion in interactive working groups. However, the group also wishes to forge links with all region groups of the CIPR and encourage networking opportunities for those who, while unable to travel regularly to London, wish to add an internal communications focus to their membership.
