- Construction
& Property
The group supports in-house and agency PR professionals within construction, residential and commercial property, architecture, building services, housebuilding, structural and civil engineering and other associated sectors. It organises events on industry-related best practice, site visits and useful networking opportunities. - Corporate + Financial
This group aims to improve the understanding of the role and value of corporate and financial public relations, both within the City and industry in general. It has regular meetings, with senior speakers from business, government and the media, and a full social programme offering excellent networking opportunities. - Education
& Skills
This newly established group will emphasise the professional role and credibility of PR professionals in the education sector by providing a forum for serious debate, and sharing of knowledge and experience. - Fifth Estate
- Voluntary sector
The group supports anyone working with PR in the not-for-profit sector. It holds regular meetings with top rank speakers from the media and not-for-profit organisations, runs a mentoring scheme and provides a membership directory. - Government Affairs (GAG)
GAG members are communication and public affairs professionals who interact with Government, the EU and the devolved Parliament and Assemblies. The group regularly organises speaker meetings and lunches and a free members' handbook. - Health & Medical
The CIPR Health and Medical Group aims to unite PR professionals from across the healthcare and medical sectors. PR in this sector is particularly wide ranging covering the NHS, private healthcare, health insurance and the pharmaceutical industry. Our meetings are designed to appeal to communications professions from agency and in-house including those who specialise in general healthcare, patient groups, government, health charities and medical research. - CIPR Inside
CIPR Inside's objective is to provide a forum for internal communication professionals where they can share ideas and practices and agree professional standards. - International Public
Relations
For members working in-house or in consultancy in an international context, or who wish to develop their careers in an international direction. It is an opportunity for both networking and training. - Local Public Services
The group's members work in or with local authorities throughout the UK. It promotes professional development, runs awards schemes, workshops and publishes 'PR News'. - Marketing Communications
This sectoral group represents all of the PR professionals who operate or have an interest in the wider marketing communications arena. Giving you access to the latest information and best practice to stimulate your business through a number of events each year. These normally include case studies of best practice in marketing communications. - Science Engineering and Technology
Group (SET)
With this group, technology communicators have the opportunity to meet and exchange information and extend contacts. - Women in PR Group
Provides a forum for organising networking events, topical debates, educational and social events for women working in Public Relations throughout the United Kingdom.
