Grade: Member MCIPR


What is full membership?

There are several routes into full membership of the CIPR. In order to qualify for membership, you must be able to demonstrate one of the following:

Your application must be sponsored by a current Full Member (MCIPR) or Fellow (FCIPR).  Applicants who hold the CIPR Diploma do not need to get their application sponsored.

You will also need to send a full CV or career synopsis with your application.

How much do I have to pay?

UK annual fee: £204 or £180 if you pay by Direct Debit
International annual fee: £174


How do I apply?

Complete your application form (pdf), sign it and attach a full and up-to-date CV or career synopsis.

If required contact your sponsors and ask them to sign your application. If you would like help in finding a sponsor please contact us on +44 (0)20 7766 3333 or email membership@cipr.co.uk.

Return your form to the CIPR with your payment details. If you are applying under the group membership scheme please ensure all the applications are sent together and are clearly marked 'group membership'.

Please Note: applications may take 3 to 4 weeks to process.


Other CIPR membership grades

*If you apply on the basis of six years’ experience we will ask you to send us a professional development plan immediately after you have joined. This is a basic plan including about five key points of learning activity that you would like to complete over the next year. It can include formal training, on the job training and personal development activity. A year after you join, we will contact you again and ask you to send in the record you have kept over the year about these learning activities.
