Is the qualification the same as if I had studied in a more traditional way, going along to lectures every week?
Yes, it is exactly the same, as is the syllabus and the assessments.

How will I know that I am keeping on track with my studies? You are assigned a personal tutor who keeps in touch on a regular basis to make sure that you are on track with your studies.
