The Advanced Certificate in Public Relations is aimed at people who are interested in pursuing a career in public relations or those who have been working in the business, at fairly junior levels, for a couple of years.

The postgraduate Diploma in Public Relations is for more experienced professionals

without an industry specific qualification and provides advanced capability in management and practice.

Both qualifications focus on professional knowledge, vocational skills and personal development. They can be studied at a number of centres throughout the UK and overseas. The Diploma is also available online.

CIPR also offers the Foundation Award in Public Relations. The course is designed for those considering PR as a career option; whether school-leavers, students or those already working in a different industry who would like to move into public relations.

About the CIPR Awarding Body (AB)

The CIPR AB exists to maintain and enhance the standards of its qualifications by means of rigorous quality control of syllabus setting and assessment practices.It liaises with the UK's regulatory authorities that govern matters relating to the national recognition of qualifications.

Students and their sponsors are asked to note carefully that the CIPR AB is quite distinct from the CIPR in its capacities as a membership body and as a commercial organisation.
