General Terms
The CIPR cannot accept provisional bookings. All bookings must be made using the official CIPR booking form (either through the World PR Conference & Festival website or from conference brochures).
All bookings will be confirmed in writing by the CIPR within 5 working days. Please check this confirmation carefully. All errors/amendments must be notified in writing within 48 hours of receipt. If you do not receive your order confirmation within 5 days please contact the CIPR on 020 7766 3333 or email RebeccaA@cipr.co.uk The CIPR cannot be held responsible for the non-arrival of information.
Joining instructions will be provided at the beginning of June, provided fees have been paid.
The CIPR reserves the right to alter the programme/speakers without prior notification.
If deemed absolutely necessary, the CIPR reserves the right to cancel the conference up to seven days before the date of the event and will refund 100% of the booking fee where this has been paid in full.
The CIPR will not be held responsible for travel, accommodation, or other contingent expenses for delegates who fail to attend sessions for any reason.
Payment terms
Unless agreed otherwise with the CIPR in writing, all bookings must be paid by 22 June at the latest. Preferred method of payment is by credit card at the time of booking. If an invoice is requested you will be asked to provide a Purchase order number and accounts payable contact details to Susan Shayshutt at SusanS@cipr.co.uk .
Cheques should be made payable to the CIPR and any invoice number should be quoted on the remittance advice or the back of the cheque. The CIPR can only accept BACS payments for non-UK bookings.
All invoiced fees are due within 30 days of invoice date. Where an invoice is issued less than 30 days prior to the event, payment should be made in full by 22 June 2008. All disputed items must be notified by email to SusanS@cipr.co.uk within 14 days of invoice.
We understand and will exercise our statutory right to claim interest and compensation charges under the Late Payment of Commercial Debts [Interest] Act 1998 as amended and supplemented by the Late Payment of Commercial Debts Regulations 2002 if payment is not received in accordance with our agreed terms of payment.
Cancellations and Transfer Terms
All cancellation and transfer requests must be made in writing to RebeccaA@cipr.co.uk at the CIPR. Cancellation by telephone will not be accepted. Transfers can be made from one delegate to another.
A cancellation of a booking, which has already been transferred, will not be refunded.
The CIPR cannot offer refunds to delegates who fail to attend sessions for reasons outside the control of the CIPR.
Administration charges will be charged on cancellations as follows: -
- cancellation 21 days or more prior to event 20% of booking fee
- cancellation 14 - 20 days prior to event 50% of booking fee
- cancellation under 14 days prior to event 100% of booking fee
Delegates are entitled to send a substitute if they are unable to attend, and should advise RebeccaA@cipr.co.uk of this.
