The CIPR offers a wide range of events designed to support learning, professional development and networking at every stage of your PR career. From webinars and local talks to regional conferences and our flagship Annual Conference, our events are created to help you stay informed, build connections and develop your skills.
Free and paid events
Many of our groups and networks run free or low-cost events, including webinars and networking meet-ups. These are volunteer-led and focus on knowledge sharing, discussion and community building. Alongside these, we also deliver larger events and conferences with more extensive programmes and production.
Why do some events cost more?
Event pricing reflects the format, scale and level of delivery.
Costs can include:
- Venue hire and catering
- Technical production and accessibility requirements
- Speaker fees
- Event management and delivery
Larger, in-person events with longer programmes and high-profile speakers typically cost more to deliver.
Value for members
Across all events, we aim to balance quality, accessibility and affordability. Many of our lower-cost or free events are made possible through the support of our volunteer community, who play a vital role in creating opportunities for members to connect and learn. Income from paid events is reinvested into supporting members, developing professional standards and advancing the PR profession.

We work with partners and sponsors to support selected events and extend their reach, bringing in additional expertise and industry insight. These events will always be promoted in our Event Calendar.
