Skipton Building Society's in-house team generated a huge reach for the mutual with a carefully-considered integrated campaign for a new mortgage product. The campaign matched detailed research to activation which reached a broad range of stakeholders across multiple channels. The reward has been to build the Skipton brand on the national stage as well as bringing in new customers.

Yorkshire Building Society used research to shape an engaging campaign targeting consumers during a difficult time. By taking the time to listen to what was worrying the customer, the team developed a strategy that directly responded to what people wanted and needed. This led to very impressive results both from a campaign and commercial perspective.

Securing a sustainable future for York Minster

This impactful campaign had very clear aims with wide-ranging stakeholders against a challenging environment, making this considered and collaborative approach such a success. The ultimate adoption of the Neighbourhood Plan, achieving ambitious awareness targets and managing an extensive multi-channel approach is to be applauded. The team maintained clarity of purpose throughout and demonstrated exemplary skills in a sophisticated approach with media engagement to content creation. This thoughtful strategy delivered enviable results thanks to the considered, coordinated and clear plan, expertly executed and effectively engaging with a broad range of stakeholders. Well done to the team for demonstrating the value of communications in supporting the future of York Minster.

A very sensitive campaign delivered with care and compassion for those involved. Relatively low budget but huge impact. Use of a variety of tactics. Overcoming a huge hurdle with the Queen passing which coincided with launch and news coverage was saturated.

Supporting Trans PRide in Rugby League

This campaign demonstrated insightful and considered media engagement and identified opportunities to maximise the achievements of the campaign. Successfully working with existing correspondents and coordinating the launch video ahead of the match with interview opportunities and photography on the day ensured success. The effective approach and clear knowledge of media meant a gathering pace of coverage from BBC Local Radio to national daytime coverage on Channel 4. The near double attendance on the match day compared to the year earlier gives further proof of the profile, impact and success of the campaign.

Fingerprint breakthrough in breast cancer detection

Sheffield Hallam's in-house PR team has worked with researchers to publicise groundbreaking results of a non-invasive method for detecting breast cancer from fingerprints. Their well-planned communications campaign was done with no budget and with in-house resources, making the results they achieved a real world difference.

The Play Panel

Prohibition transformed the launch of a new play area at Stockeld Park from a one-day media moment to an opportunity for sustained and repeated coverage by some of Yorkshire's biggest media channels. By placing child designers at the heart of the story the agency created an instantly appealing journey for the media to follow partnered with a well-structured campaign approach.

Aberfield made the bold decision to reach target audiences through a whole-hearted focus on LinkedIn, based on solid research and a clear strategy to create relevant and shareable content. The reward for their client The Compleat Food Group has been increased external and internal engagement, a doubling of page impressions and shares increasing many times over.

Black Sheep Drink Cask Beer

Black Sheep Brewery tasked Prohibition PR to reposition cask beer to appeal to younger, more diverse audiences, particularly women. Three very creative pieces of disruptive content from a poet, comedienne and hip hop artist delivered the messages to help shift the way people feel about cask beer. Excellent results from this very creative content really impressed the judges.
