Conference: Low Budget. High Expectations. Real Results.

Conference: Low Budget. High Expectations. Real Results.

Communications, marketing and PR professionals have never been under greater pressure to deliver more with less. Budgets are tighter, expectations continue to grow and teams are being asked to demonstrate impact like never before.

Join CIPR East Anglia for our 2026 conference as we explore how communications professionals can maximise their influence, demonstrate value and achieve meaningful results in today's challenging environment.

Through a mix of inspiring keynote speakers, practical case studies, interactive discussion and a hands-on workshop, you will hear from experienced communications leaders who have successfully navigated complex challenges with limited resources and leave with practical ideas you can apply immediately in your own organisation.

Confirmed sessions include:

Demonstrating your value – linking your work to the commercial drivers of the organisation
Dan Gerrella, Managing Director, LMC and CIPR President-Elect (2027)

Discover how communications professionals can better demonstrate organisational value by understanding commercial priorities, aligning communications with business objectives and strengthening their influence with senior leaders.

Doing more with less - stretching reach, reputation and resource.
Neil Bradford, Head of Marketing and Communications and Marketing, London Luton Airport.

From managing major incidents and organisational change to protecting reputation through periods of intense public scrutiny, Neil will share lessons from leading communications at one of the UK's busiest airports and how strategic thinking can achieve significant impact without unlimited resource.

What if the answer isn't doing more?
Nafisa Ali Shafiq, Chartered PR Practitioner and CIPR Fellow.

Doing more with less has become the default expectation for communications teams. But what if the real opportunity is to focus on the work that delivers the greatest impact? Nafisa will share practical frameworks, real-world examples and productivity techniques to help you prioritise high-value communications, simplify low-value activity and make confident decisions about what to stop doing.

Additional speakers and sessions will be announced over the coming weeks!

Who should attend?

Whether you work in-house, in an agency, the public sector, private sector or not-for-profit, this conference is designed for communications, marketing and PR professionals looking for practical ideas, fresh thinking and valuable connections with peers facing similar challenges.
