At COP30, information integrity was recognised as a critical enabler of effective climate action, reflecting growing concern that climate policy, public consent, and institutional trust are increasingly shaped by complex and often polluted information environments.

The United Nations Global Principles for Information Integrity provide a shared framework for responding to this challenge, spanning:

 - Societal trust and resilience
 - Healthy incentives within digital and media ecosystems
 - Public empowerment to navigate complex and contested information
 - Independent, free and pluralistic media
 - Transparency and research

This panel session will explore how these principles translate into practical application, drawing on case studies highlighted within the COP30 Information Integrity agenda.

The session will be chaired by Shayoni Lynn, CIPR ESG Network Co-Chair and CEO & Founder of Lynn Advisory. Shayoni will convene a panel of contributors whose work was featured within the COP30 Information Integrity programme and will also briefly reflect on Lynn Advisory’s contribution to this agenda as part of the discussion.
