Communicating for neurodiversity: bitesize session

Communicating for neurodiversity: bitesize session

Communicating for neurodiversity: bitesize session
Internal comms, diversity, inclusion, neurodiversity
The CIPR Inside Group in partnership with the CIPR Diversity and Inclusion Network are delighted to be hosting this bitesized session on Communicating for neurodiversity.

Neurodiversity offers significant benefits to a company, and Microsoft, KPMG, JPMorgan Chase, BT, Google, and Ford are among some of the big brands recognising that internal communication now needs to support a broad range of cognitive styles.

Social anthropologist and communications coach Tillie Harris and lead chartered PR assessor and agency MD Ben Verinder have designed a new course – Communicating for Neurodiversity – to help leaders, managers and communications professionals improve their communication and ensure that it serves the needs of the workforce, including those with a full range of cognitive styles.

This 40-minute bite size session provides some key findings from the course, giving an overview of the different types of neurodiversity and what communicating inclusively means. There are tips and techniques, and a chance to discuss and ask questions at the end.
