We are kicking the year off with a new webinar in our acclaimed “Doing PR in…” series. On 21 February 2024 we will be exploring the Asian landscape with two experts in this area: Haikel Fahim of Telum Media and Anjali Patil of BNP Paribas. The webinar will be facilitated by Ferdinand Bondoy, a CIPR International committee member and Group Chief Executive Director of COMCO Mundo League of Enterprises.

 

The Media and PR Landscape - Haikel Fahim of Telum Media

With Asia as a hotbed of innovation, Haikel’s presentation explores the profound transformation shaping the region. He will consider the unique dynamics and trends shaping the Asian media and PR landscape. From the expansion of digital platforms, AI, social media, and technology to the evolving social and political landscape, you will gain a deeper understanding of the challenges and opportunities throughout Asia that can help shape your communication strategies. Haikel Fahim is Region Head of Southeast Asia for Telum Media where he oversees teams based in Singapore, Malaysia, Indonesia, Philippines and Thailand. He’s been with Telum for over eight years, building operations in various markets and building relations with media and communications professionals. Prior to this, he worked in communications teams in agencies and in-house setting.

In this talk, we will delve into different strategies and present real-world case studies to inform your PR journey in the region. Anjali Patil is Head of Brand and Communications for Southeast Asia at BNP Paribas. With over twenty years of experience managing communications for financial services firms, Anjali Patil is currently based in Singapore. Her responsibilities at BNP Paribas include managing corporate communications, sponsorships and events, and corporate social responsibility activities. Previously, she has held similar roles with BNP Paribas India, Fidelity India and Morgan Stanley in India and in Singapore.

 

The event will be facilitated by Ferdinand Bondoy, Group Chief Executive Director and Lead Strategic Communications Counsel / Partner and Cofounder of COMCO Mundo League of Enterprises. Ferdinand Bondoy is a global award-winning communications practitioner and champion of strategic integration and communications. A certified digital marketer and crisis counsellor in Asia-Pacific, he also cofounded COMCO Southeast Asia, COMCO Middle East & Africa, TARO AOX Digital + Integrated Communications and SEA Wave & Spice Multimedia Content Studio. Prior to COMC Mundo, Ferdinand was the Vice President for Brand Marketing, Digital, Social and Content of FleishmanHillard and Associate PR Director of Campaigns & Grey.
