Purpose-Led Communications Panel

Purpose-Led Communications Panel

CIPR North West, CIPR NW, purpose-led, charity
Calling all public sector communicators, charity comms professionals and ESG communicators, this event is for you!

Join CIPR North West for an afternoon exploring the world of purpose-led communications, hosted with our charity partner Mustard Tree.

This panel event brings together communications leaders from across the public, charity and social enterprise sectors to share how they deliver authentic, impactful storytelling. And how they're moving professional practice beyond "purpose washing" toward messaging that genuinely reflects the communities and causes they serve.

Chaired by Deepa Thomas-Sutcliffe, the panel will discuss what purpose looks like in practice, how to balance it against political and financial pressures, and how to measure whether communications are really making a difference.

Expect honest insights, practical case studies and plenty of opportunity to put your own questions to the panel.

Whether you work in-house, agency-side or freelance, and whether purpose is already at the heart of your role or something you'd like to do more of, this event is designed to spark ideas, connections and conversations.

Panel members:
Chair: Deepa Thomas-Sutcliffe: Head of Public Engagement at Cabinet Office, and CIPR NW Interim Chair and EDI Champion
Lewis Jones: Assistant Director of Communications - Transport Communications, GMCA
Christina Berry-Moorcroft: Senior Communications Consultant, and CIPR NW Secretary
Harry Dwan: Fundraising Lead, Mustard Tree
