Hear a panel of experts discuss how public sector organisations are responding to the evolving social media landscape, fragmentation of audiences and the challenges being posed for warning and informing.

Dan Slee, Social Media expert and trainer. Dan has worked with many public sector bodies on developing their social media approach and undertakes regular research into what works through his firm Dan Slee Ltd.

Louise Gibson, Communications Team Manager at Sheffield City Council. Louise leads on Social media and has been exploring new avenues to reach audiences and enhance accessibility.

Farid Norat, Communications Officer, Manchester City Council.  Joint winners of the Social Media Account category at the Unawards in 2024, Manchester have won plaudits for their multi channel social approach linking content to corporate values.

Carys Lewis,  Senior Communications Officer Digital & Content at South Wales Police will give a perspective from emergency services and how they are using social to engage better with residents and stakeholders.
