Join us for the latest in our Wessex Working Lunch series: CIPR Chartered - Tips and Resources to Help you Prepare for Going Chartered.

This free virtual workshop will focus on what is involved in the Chartered process, tips on how you can plan your learning, and how to pick out some of your professional experiences to support your application and assessment.

We will be joined by a panel of CIPR Chartered Practitioners who will share their tips. If you attended our CPD webinar earlier this year, this will be a great follow-up as we will be addressing the questions you raised about Chartership. The event will go into more detail about the process and help you showcase your skills for assessment and promotion centres in general you might want to apply to.

The session will be led by Abha Thakor, who is a founding Chartered PR Practitioner and a CPD advocate. She has many years experience of training and mentoring in communications and technology, and has been involved in professional development for nearly 20 years. Also joining the event will be panellists including Chartered PR Practitioners Katie Marlow, Claire Melia-Tompkins, and David Hamilton. A number of additional senior practitioners have also shared their insight for this event. In response to attendees’ requests from the previous professional development event, this next event in the series will focus on case studies, mapping your skills and how to think beyond pressured periods to reflecting on learning and strategic approaches. Through examples and discussion, practitioners will be able to consider how they can better demonstrate their skills and competencies.

Come and join CIPR Wessex and CIPR Local Public Services for this free, joint event. Thank you to the CIPR Council members who have provided insight and learning. This is a CPD event and 5 points can be claimed on the CIPR CPD scheme.
