Where Practice Meets Academia

Where Practice Meets Academia

Where Practice Meets Academia
research, practice, students, praxis
We have - in the UK - a rich legacy of contributing to and driving research in the field of public relations and communication management at a global level and yet our industry practice remains largely separated from our knowledge communities.

This event - in collaboration with the CIPR and PRCA - aims to integrate academic and practice networks to facilitate knowledge share. By starting the discussion as practitioners enter the industry, we hope to help to close gaps between research and practice and to highlight opportunities to collaborate as a community.

Agenda TBC - Featuring a keynote from “Researching Practitioner” Professor Sean MacNiven; future of PR panels to generate a hearty discussion and the opportunity to network with peers.

Throughout the event, there will be opportunities to network, ask for advice and hear and contribute to different perspectives about working and studying in the UK.

Prof Dr Sean MacNiven, DBA, BSc (Hons)
