Training Pass
What is the On-Demand Training Pass?
The On-Demand Training Pass gives CIPR members unlimited access to the CIPR's growing library of on-demand courses for 12 months. You can learn on your own schedule, revisit courses as often as you like, and work at your own pace during your subscription.
I'm not currently a CIPR member. Can I join and then buy the On-Demand Training Pass?
Yes. If you're not already a CIPR member, you can join us and then purchase the On-Demand Training Pass.
Becoming a member and purchasing the pass offers excellent value. As well as enjoying all the benefits of CIPR membership, you'll gain 12 months' unlimited access to our library of on-demand courses worth £3,610 (non-member rates).
The pass is exclusive to CIPR members. It will be valid for 12 months while your membership remains active.
What payment methods do you accept?
If you are buying a single pass for yourself, please make your purchase online and pay by credit or debit card.
If your organisation is purchasing access for two or more learners, invoices can be requested. Please use the manual booking forms on the On-Demand Training Pass
page to purchase a pass on behalf of someone else, or for team.
Can my organisation buy passes for employees?
Yes. Organisations can purchase passes for employees as long as they are CIPR members. Each pass is assigned to a named learner. If your organisation purchases multiple passes and someone hasn't yet activated theirs, please contact us- we may be able to reassign it before it's been used.
Accessing your pass
When does my access start?
Your 12-month access starts once we have received your payment and activated your pass. This may take up to 72 hours from the time your payment is received. You can begin learning as soon as you've received your login details.
How do I access my training?
Once your payment has been processed and your account has been set up, we'll send you everything you need to log in to the learning platform and start learning.
Can I share my pass with someone else?
No. Your On-Demand Training Pass is for your personal use only. It can't be shared, transferred or resold.
What happens if I don't use my pass?
Your pass expires 12 months after the date of purchase. Access to any incomplete courses will end automatically when your subscription expires, so we recommend making the most of your access throughout the year. If you lapse your membership, you will not be able to access your courses.
Can I extend my access?
If you need a little longer, please contact the Training team before your access expires. We may be able to offer an extension, although this isn't guaranteed and additional charges may apply.
Cancellations and refunds
Can I get a refund?
If you've changed your mind, please contact us within 24 hours of purchasing your pass. Refunds can only be considered if you haven't started using your pass or accessed any course content. Once you've activated your pass or begun learning, refunds aren't normally available unless required by law.
I've already bought one or more on-demand courses at the member rate. Can I switch to the On-Demand Training Pass instead?
No. If you've already purchased individual on-demand courses, those purchases can't be exchanged for an On-Demand Training Pass or credited towards the cost of a pass.
If you're thinking about taking several on-demand courses over the next year, the On-demand Training Pass will offer better value, so it's worth considering before making your purchase.
Learning experience
What equipment do I need?
You'll need a reliable internet connection and a compatible computer, tablet or mobile device to access the learning platform.
What if I experience technical problems?
If you're having trouble accessing your training, our team will be happy to help. Please note that we're unable to resolve issues caused by your own internet connection, device settings or your organisation's network restrictions.
Will the course content ever change?
Yes. We regularly review and update our courses to keep them accurate, relevant and up to date. From time to time we may add, replace or update course content, learning materials or assessments during your subscription.
Is the learning platform available all the time?
We aim to keep the platform available whenever you need it. Occasionally we may need to carry out maintenance or updates, which could temporarily affect access.
Certificates and CPD
Will I receive a certificate?
Yes. You'll receive a certificate of completion for all courses once you've completed all the required learning modules.
Can I claim CIPR CPD?
Yes. Eligible courses can be recorded as part of your Continuing Professional Development (CPD). CPD allocations will be stated on the course page.
Course materials
Can I download or share the course materials?
Course materials are provided for your own personal learning. They must not be copied, shared, recorded, reproduced or sold without permission.
Privacy and terms
How will my personal information be used?
We'll process your personal information in line with our Privacy Policy and UK data protection legislation. We also keep records of your learning progress and course completions so we can provide certificates and manage your learning experience.
