Our Cyber Security on-demand course, delivered in partnership with Templar International Group, aims to equip PR and Comms professionals and their organisations with key knowledge of Cyber Security, enabling them to stay safe and mitigate risks in a complex threat landscape.
The course addresses Cyber Security holistically, offering practical advice and insights, whilst engaging learners in real-world scenarios. This course has 5 modules each lasting 30-40 minutes. Once completed, you can log 1 CPD point per module or 10 CPD points for the full series.

In this module, you will gain an understanding of Cyber Security and learn why it is so important in today's digital world. The module will also cover the roles and responsibilities of PR and Communications professionals in Cyber Security. Finally, the importance of compliance and maintaining good Cyber practices will be highlighted.

5. Crisis Management and PR
In this module, you will gain knowledge of what constitutes a Cyber incident and how it impacts organisations. You will understand the critical role of PR and Communications teams during a Cyber Incident, including how they manage communication and reputation. The module will also demonstrate the lifecycle of a Cyber incident, from detection to resolution. You will be provided with real-life Cyber incident scenarios and examples of good practices. Additionally, you will explore the role of human factors and how to manage stakeholders during a crisis. Finally, the session will highlight examples of good practices, including strategies to mitigate risk to reputation.
