About the group

We believe that excellence in health communications can improve the wellbeing of the population.

We support professional healthcare communicators, in both public and private sectors, by providing tools, training and a support network.

We want to raise the profile of communication as a strategic management function with healthcare leaders as well as promote the variety of roles and careers in this sector to attract diverse talent.

We’re proud to promote and protect professional standards and ethical behaviour; championing excellence in healthcare communications.

We are passionate about supporting the wellbeing of CIPR members, with a particular focus on mental health and health inequalities.

CIPR members can update their communication preferences at any time to opt in to hear from us. Non-members can sign up to hear from the CIPR (including any of the groups) by creating a web log in and setting their communication preferences.
