Privacy Notice

When you submit your entry for the Inside Story Online Awards using our online survey entry form, we will ask you for some personal information. This will be your name, email address, postal address and a contact telephone number.
CIPR Inside collects this personal information so that we can process your entry, judge it and contact you if you are a winner to arrange the delivery of a prize. We may also use it to contact you to see if you are interested in collaborating with us on an event or in the creation of content relating to the subject matter of your entry. We will not use your personal information for any other reason nor will we pass this information on to any other third party.
When you enter the Inside Story Online Awards we will ask for your permission to use your entry as case study content on our website and in social media to demonstrate good internal communications practice to other practitioners and interested parties. Any personal information included in this case study content will be confined to the names of the nominees and the organisation to which the entry is relevant. If you do not want us to use your entry in this way, you can indicate this on the online entry survey form or by contacting us after submission using [email protected]. Your decision will not affect the outcome of your awards entry submission.
Terms and Conditions
By submitting an entry to the Inside Story Online Awards, you agree to our terms and conditions.
The Inside Story Online Awards entries are judged by members of the CIPR Inside Committee and the judge’s decisions are moderated by our elected officers. The judge’s decision is final, and no feedback can be given on individual entries. We will announce the winning entries on the CIPR Inside website and our social media platforms.
When you submit an awards entry, you should make sure that it is a true and accurate account of the work that was completed and the people who were involved. CIPR Inside reserve the right to withdraw any prizes awarded to entries, and related content on our website and social media platforms, if it is subsequently discovered that the entry was inaccurate or false information was given.
The deadline for entries is midnight (GMT/BST) on the dates shown on our website. Entries received after the deadline will be considered in the subsequent judging period as shown on our website.
Previously submitted and judged entries will not be considered again for an award unless you resubmit a new entry with additional information.
The dates shown on our website for the announcement of awards winners are indicative only and CIPR Inside reserve the right to amend these dates if, for example, we receive large volumes of entries or due to other circumstances which are beyond our control.
If you are a winner, the prizes you will receive have no cash value, cannot be transferred or offered as an alternative prize.
