About the group

The South West is a great place to live and work - so it's no surprise that our CIPR SW Group is so vibrant, with members from across the region and from diverse sectors. We have some excellent events planned each year to support continuous learning and professional connections for members in the region.

Workplace Wellbeing with CIPR South West and CIPR Inside

Wellbeing shot to the top of the workplace and internal communications agenda two years ago. It remains a priority as we get to grips with new 'post-pandemic' ways of working, managing an always-on culture and striving for the seemingly elusive work-life balance.

If wellbeing is on your mind, or your organisations, join us on Wednesday 18 May 2022 at 12pm for a joint CIPR Inside and CIPR South West online event.

We will be exploring workplace wellbeing - starting with you. In order to influence at work you must first influence yourself and that's what this hour will help you do.
We are delighted to welcome Kareen Griffiths, Founder of Calmify, mindfulness teacher and change and communications consultant.

We'll also hear from Abigail Hirshman, Workplace Programme Director at The Charlie Waller Trust. The trust educates young people, and those with responsibility for them, about mental health and wellbeing, offering positive, practical and proven training based on clinical evidence.

We'll also welcome James Harkness, Trustee of the CIPR benevolent fund.

The event is free for members and £10 (+ VAT) for non-members and to get you started on your wellbeing journey everyone who attends will receive a complimentary wellbeing letterbox drop from We Are Resource after the event!
