Ben Verinder

Ben is managing director of Chalkstream, an agency specialising in reputation research and management, public relations consultancy and training. He is a CIPR Founding Chartered Practitioner, lead chartered status assessor and a judge on several education awards. Ben advises senior teams and boards on strategic planning issues, informed by research insight. He is a guest lecturer on crisis communications for three UK universities and teaches for a wide variety of clients.

Kate Betts

Kate Betts was a journalist for 20 years, before taking voluntary redundancy from the BBC in 2006 and starting the award-winning agency Capital B Media. She specialises in media training and crisis communications, and has worked with clients including NHS, police, local authorities, government bodies, multinational companies and charities. She is a trainer for the Cabinet Office Emergency Planning College, has a City & Guilds training qualification and taught journalism at Sheffield University.
