Dog Attacks Campaign
Guide Dogs achieved legislative change that will make a difference to all guide-dog owners. The team used a combination of public affairs and media techniques including attracting 155 MPs to Guide Dogs' most successful Parliamentary reception ever. Compulsory micro-chipping of all dogs in England is due to come into force in 2016. It is now also planned that attacks on guide-dogs will be viewed, under law, as equally seriously as an attack on humans.
