    A simple mechanic but well executed, generating good media coverage that far exceeded the KPIs. The judges felt that the Jaywing team fully maximised the available content and the results, in terms of organic search and sales, were very impressive. A great return on investment.

    With our economy suffering an acknowledged skills gap, high profile analysis of the issue has often identified a shortage of young people pursuing STEM subjects as a primary cause. Any campaign that results in 71% of children declaring science to be their favourite subject is, in our opinion, worthy of commendation. Congratulations, Approach PR!

    The judges thought this campaign was really good: clever and heart warming - but importantly, effective. It's clear it's made a huge difference to the Trust and to the city of Hull and this difference is well evidenced by increased numbers of recruits, and an evidenced boost to morale. The NHS should roll it out nationally!

    This was a far-reaching campaign that maximised some great PR opportunities in a year when all eyes were on Hull. Activity ensured that the gallery was at the centre of the city's cultural focus. Activity caught the imagination of the world's media with some great resulting coverage. Local participation and visitor numbers to the gallery were equally impressive.

    The judges, LOVE this! The challenge of getting women in to STEM industries is very real - and so the initiative taken here to reach out to a young girl and to hopefully inspire the next generation of women scientists is commendable. Judges were particularly impressed with the direct impact her work has had at the University in terms of influencing attitudes to transparency, ethics and measurement.     Prohibition was a clear winner in this category. Whilst demonstrating clear business growth and new business wins, the agency really stands out thanks to its commitment to nurturing talent and keeping it in the region. Our industry in changing rapidly, but the agency demonstrated that it's focused on staying ahead of the local competition by ensuring campaigns are fully integrated combining social and digital with traditional PR.
