The 2014 Excellence Awards take place on Tuesday 17 June at London's iconic Old Billingsgate – a unique venue with show-stopping views of the Thames. The event will begin with welcome drinks on the terrace against the striking backdrop of The Shard.

Master of Ceremonies: Jo Caulfield
Best-known for her legendary one-woman shows, Jo Caulfield is "one of the finest female comics at work" according to The Observer and was nominated as the Funniest Woman 2010 (LAFTA Awards). She is also Graham Norton's chief writer. She is, quite simply "a damn funny woman" (The Scotsman). Jo is in demand at all major UK comedy clubs and has taken her own critically acclaimed stand-up comedy shows to the Edinburgh Fringe 11 times. She has completed four nationwide theatre tours since her first in 2006. She has been nominated as Best Female Comedian 2002 (Chortle Awards), Best Compere 2004 (Chortle Awards) and one of The 100 Greatest Stand-Ups (Channel4). Not just a brilliant live act, Jo has appeared on a variety of TV programmes including Michael MacIntyre's Comedy Roadshow, Mock The Week, Have I Got News For You? and Never Mind The Buzzcocks.

The closest underground station is Monument; the closest overground stations are Cannon Street, London Bridge and Fenchurch Street. Old Billingsgate is a 10-15 minute walk from all stations.
Several buses also serve the area.
The Chartered Institute of Public Relations, in association with Venuefixers, has arranged special rates at selected hotels in the area for guests attending the dinner and requiring overnight accommodation.
