GCS staff becoming Chartered professionals

Government Communications Service employees who’ve completed three years of the GCS Learning and Development are now eligible to apply for Chartered PR Practitioner status (Chart.PR).

The agreement reached between the Cabinet Office and the Chartered Institute of Public Relations (CIPR) removes the need for GCS staff to complete three years of CIPR CPD, in addition to maintaining their GCS Personal Development Plan.
