About the awards

The awards aim to celebrate and promote captivating specialist education journalism from pre-school through to adult education and across local, national and international reporting. The awards attract entries from both established specialist education correspondents and those breaking into the sector.

The awards shine a light on the top talent in the industry and the ability of our journalists to hold policy-makers, business and education institutions to account.

– Simon Butt-Bethlendy, Chair, CIPR Education and Skills Group.

This year, we launch a new category for Data Journalism to showcase the best reporting on original or secondary source research, as well as a category for Business Education Journalism.
